How Mish Esthetics Tweezers are Tested

When it comes to choosing the perfect lash tweezer, we know how important it is for lash artists to have tools they can trust. That’s why at Mish Esthetics, we take our tweezer testing process very seriously. As the founder and CEO, I personally make sure every lash extension tweezer set we sell meets high standards before it ever reaches your hands. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we test our tweezers and why our customers keep coming back.

Step 1: Checking the Quality

The first thing we do is look closely at each tweezer’s shape, tip, and paint. We make sure the shape is perfectly aligned from tip to end. This helps make sure the tweezer can grab lashes properly. We also check the color and finish to make sure there are no blemishes, dents, or uneven spots. Every tweezer has to look and feel professional before it passes our quality check.

Step 2: Testing the Tension

Next, we test the tension. Tension is how hard or soft the tweezer feels when you squeeze it. There are soft, medium, and hard tension tweezers out there. At Mish Esthetics, we love soft tension tweezers because they help prevent hand cramps and fatigue during long lash appointments. If a tweezer comes in with medium or hard tension, we don’t pass it. Instead, we move it to our “Just Fine” $7 clearance section. That way, artists can still try it if they prefer a different feel, but we stay true to our quality promise.

Step 3: Real Artist Testing

The last step is real-life testing. Every tweezer gets tested 3 times by 2 to 3 lash artists from our salon and warehouse team. We test them on 0.07 mm, 0.05 mm, and 0.03 mm lash diameters, using different fan-making methods like the "rolling on the strip," "lonely fan," and pinching techniques. We want to make sure the tweezer grabs lashes from tip to end with zero slipping.

We call our tweezers “All Grip, No Slip” because they don’t have a “sweet spot” like many other tweezers. You don’t have to mark the tweezer or remember where it works best. It just works anywhere on the tip.

Why Lash Artists Love Our Lash Tweezer Sets

Because of these strict tests, we’ve sold over 25,000 tweezers in just five years. Our most popular styles include the MILF Tweezer and the Curved Isolation Tweezer. Whether you're buying a single lash tweezer or a full lash tweezer set, you can feel confident knowing it’s been hand-tested and approved by real artists.

When you shop with Mish Esthetics, you’re not just buying a tool—you’re getting reliability, comfort, and performance in every tweezer.
